VCDS coding/adaptation help needed: Retrofitted foldable sidemirrors with downlight - Octavia 3 2014

Recommended Posts

Hi UK,

I'm from DK :-)

I have recently retrofitted foldable sidemirrors with downlight on my Octavia 3, 2014 (NE).

Anyone know which settings to change to make it work?

I have taken a look - using my new VCDS cable - at controller 42 and 52 for door electronics.

I have tried to change a few Bytes and Bits concerning foldable mirrors and downlight.

No succes.

Previously I have contacted the local dealer and they have contacted the factory (he said), but no response.5E

So I need your help - Any advice or idea will be appreciated...

Thanks a lot

Flemming

Hi Flemming,

Not one I've done so I'd suggest posting a new comment in here.

Where did you get the electric folding mirrors, by the way?  I'd like some for my vRS.

Cheers

Rick

Hi Rick,

Thanks for your suggestion - I will :-)

I got the mirrors from the shared site for the Danish used parts dealers - link www.ditonet.dk

It's also available in English...
