Would love to go to this one year but for now I'm resigned to browsing the net for highlights:

Already seen elsewhere on Briskoda - the Honda Civic Type R, worth the wait?:

2016 Seat SUV Concept - likely to end up wearing a Skoda badge?

I'll update with some more photos next week if no one else happens to go.

I take you are attending then?

Investigating it is actually very reasonable - ticket prices are around £10-15 per adult, flights would be cheap and I reckon you could go in a day and come back.

Lamborghini and Bentley are automotive porn!!

Honda Civic Tyre R is at least two years too late to the party and if previous models are anything to go by it'll be very good in a very limited number of circumstances and appeal to only  a very narrow section of car buyers. The rest of us (well not actually me) will go and buy a Polo GTi, Focus ST or Leon Cupra if money's a bit tight or a Golf GTi / R / S3 if the budget is less restricted. Honda would have been better off devoting the Tyre R development budget to their F1 engine development programme.

And the Monte Carlo version of the new Fabia:

Some VERY nice cars there. B)

that 230 vrs is really such a waste lol

Lol. Someone should tell Lexus that when your vehicle has accidentally been put through the crusher, you aren't meant to try and put it back together for a motor show. You are best off building another vehicle from scratch.

As for the Sway. Well it has got one thing going for it. It makes the Micra look extremely sexy.

Me? I'll take the Morgan. That looks sweet.

Remove the 21in wheels on this and you have the next gen CC from VW:

Imagine that grille bearing down on you on the motorway!

Really like that. I can see what they mean about it targeting Mercedes CLS drivers.

Like Skoda did with the Rapid? :p

It's the cheap city car to fit below the Corsa - the Adam is aimed more at the 500/Mini/Twingo.

Why not?  The original Viva was nothing to write home about.  I had a new HC Viva back in 1972, Vauxhall build quality was rubbish then, too!

Wait till we get the Magnum version with the 2.3 litre engine........

I just don't know why they can't have the imagination to think of something different

The original Viva was a saloon, so they re-invent in the form of an extremely budget hatch

I don't see the need to revive old names so many years after they stopped using them

To the OP..going to Geneva isn't 'that' expensive. Last year I went for 2 nights and it was expensive but now I've been I realised you could do it comfortably in 1 day. The flights are decent from Luton (depending where yiu live) there is a flight that lands at 10:45am and you can get a flight back at around 9pm. The show is about £10 to get in and is open till 8pm I seem to remember. If you book early enough you could go for about £80..cheaper than a day out to Alton Towers!

At that kind of money you'd think the focus should be on the car rather than wondering how long that suit button is going to hold on for.

Also, that's Andy Pamler.  From Nissan.

I know its totally out of reach of the normal person, like the new koenigsegg Regera Hypercar, theres something very wall posterish about it.

The problem with that theory Chris is you're just looking at the basic package!

Don't forget you have to factor in what you may end up buying and if SWMBO insists on coming to ensure that it's bought in the correct colour too!

Totally. I thought that. Funnily enough his profile on Wikipedia suggests that his hobbies include " running for necessity ". Clearly not!

EVP at Nissan before he left I believe.
