Scotts Products

Featured Replies

Hi

The old man picked up a bag full of Scotts products.

All spray cans and a shampoo bottle.

Anyone heard of them?

Are they any good?

Thanks

Porridge?

Don't fancy their shampoo..a bit lumpy. Lol

Well your 1st sensible answer is here.

I've never heard of them, is it these people? http://www.scottstrading.com/products/vehicle-care-pack

The fact that they are promoting a sponge does not build me with confidence.

Think you need to `lighten up` mate.

Think you need to `lighten up` mate.

Why?

Im pretty sure its all similar stuff to Diamondbrite, Guard X, Super Guard etc.

Why? I'm fine, I assumed the OP wanted a sensible answer.

Pah, their thick cut oats are the Bees Knees!

If your dad uses this stuff and thinks it's fine and he's happy enough then that's what matters....Good luck to him.

Why?

Well, if you've got to ask...there's nothing more to be said.

Cheers for the replies! Don't mind the humour, but thanks for the link NM.

There was a sponge in his pack lol!

Tried passing the gear onto me but I'm a bit more careful what I use now!

He's not used any of the stuff yet, just wondered if it was any good? I've waxed his car as well as mine so anything that is going to remove the wax ain't happening!

I'd use the other bits, and cut up the sponge and use them for tyre dressing and trim dressing applicators too.

I have a bottle of their paint sealant and protector, I was given it by a valeter from a Vauxhall dealership we look after I also know that a Nissan dealership uses their products as well. Have yet to use it but to be honest I'll probably just use it on the work's van when I get a chance.

Not sure how good it is but i expect it will be of a similar product to Autoglym's life shine stuff.

I got given it for nothing so I will use it, but wouldn't nessescerily buy it my self. I also think their can be a lot of snobbery when it comes to car care products, so unless you know for sure a certain product is above the rest i'd imagine they'll all do a job. You never truely know until you've tried it for youself.

Snobbery...on this site..never !!!

Well, if you've got to ask...there's nothing more to be said.

Ok then chap no worries.
