They're more similar than I realised when I made the original post.

It is the same car but the Auto Express one has been photoshopped, notice the difference one is LHD and the other is RHD - makes you wonder if they've altered anything else ?

I like it, but it doesn't look like a TT to me - as pbirkett says, more like a sportier A3.

OK, the back window does look a little shiny, so the photoshop allegation may stand . However, if we read the initial couple of posts here correctly, it states that there will be a TT Coupe and Cabriolet ALONGSIDE the 'Shooting Break' (which is deemed a 'concept'), so I don't think Audi will be changing the TT too radically.

I'm not realLy in the know as such, but there have to BE many Hairdressers etc. that will be deeply offended if the TT changes too much

I 'agree' that there will [probably] be 3 TT variants, however the yellow TT pic above is a Photoshop (sorry :(), I saw it while looking for the TT coupe and it has some German directly above the Pic with the word 'Computer-Zeichnung'. So nothing definite here, but most of the articles I've read mention Coupe, Cabriolet and Shooting Brake distinctly.

I'm also going to buck the trend here and say I quite like it, although I am not sure about the grill at the front.

The problem Audi have is that the current TT is a brilliant piece of design. It looks as good today as it did the first time I saw one and I am certain that its appearance will remain timeless. But what do you do when you have created a 'timeless' design? No point putting out another TT in the same mould as it would be panned as being unoriginal and disappointing. So, you go for something totally different.

My view is that there shouldn't be a new TT. They should retire the old one, but come up with a new name for the new coupe, thus avoiding direct comparison.
