Personally i think it looks awful at the back whats happend for the plain chunky modenr styling of audi its turned to become tacky and just to fussy in the exterior in my oppinion just doesnt quite match the nice design of the old a4 and the new a6 /a8 to many lines and oddly placed bits :eek:

our eyes are not deceiving you - this is Audi's daring new TT. Set to be revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show next week, the striking hatchback's styling proves that cute curves are out and sharp lines are in.

Following in the tracks of BMW's Z4 and 1-Series, Audi's designers have been forced to change tack in order to make waves in the compet-itive sports car market. According to Audi, it's no longer enough to build a machine that follows the crowd - you have to come up with a model which will attract one of its own!

But the biggest surprise is that this three-door version looks set to join the line-up alongside coup

That's not the new TT... It's a design study concept for the Tokyo motor show, named the Audi "Shooting Brake".

Yeah I saw the new TT and it looks good...kinda like the makeover BMW gave the 7 series.....

still fecking awful! auto express never get it wrong they had a write up about "we told you so" lol but i dunno i dont like that and its definatly nothing like the old tt wich was smooooth! just plain ugly mind you the new a4 is just as bad

Looks shi te to me. Can you believe Audi are going to make a version with the TDi 170 engine.

I'm going against the tide and say I quite like it, assuming thats what its going to look like, which there clearly seems to be a lot of doubt about. If I hadnt been told it was a "TT" concept, then I would have thought it was an A3 replacement or something.

Wether it's the new TT or not, I like it. Apart from a vague resemblance the the 1 series at the rear, very vague actually, I think it looks quite unique in it's style, which appeals to me. Looks like it means business.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something but the original post/article seems to suggest that this is a new TT variant, the Shooting Break, like a sort of 3 door estate version of the TT (and like the old BWM Z3 variant). So, there should still be the more traditional coupe and cabriolet version too.

As for me, I quite like the rear end (I usually do , only women need apply), love those rims, not so enthusiastic about the grill though, although I'm sure it would give someone a scare in the rear-view mirror

I like it too. It has thast mean look about it. Quite frankly the Audi TT was a bit of a hair dressers poncey car to begin with. About time they butched it up a it.

One is the new Audi Shooting Brake concept which I must admit does look quite decent.

The other is the photoshopped crap that AutoExpress had on the cover this week.

Neither is the MkII TT.

And Gavster, personally speaking comments about TTs and hairdressers are about as welcome as jokes about Skoda heated rear windows .......

It kinda reminds me of that Z3 coupe thing that top gear loved so much but looked really awkward, they compared it's looks to an old scimitar or whatever it's called.
