hmm interesting i wonder why its turned off on the box, and what +1 and -1 do if i put them on?

Either faulty, or perhaps prev owner used to leave a dog in the car so turned it off to stop dog activating alarm?

any risk if turning it on, and should it be +1 or -1 ?

Could affect immobiliser if it's alarm related.

However, it's probably been like that from the factory and hasn't been messed with. My Ibiza had the same thing.

It is on, permanently, -1, 0, +1 are sensitivity settings, it's on the default setting.

Oh right thanks for clearing that up. i thought 0 was off lol
