    Oil in and up the the MAX level!   I then put the sensor back in place, being sure to push the little rubber tubes back into their seats too...   Wiring harness back behind it's U-

    There is a little shelf in the bottom of the filter box that simply lifts out...   I could see some leaves underneath the tray...   A quick blast with the hoover got all of the tin

What was the breaker bar for? did you not have your Ready Brek? :D

The oil filter housing is plastic on plastic and when hot (dropping the oil with a warm engine) it can be a bugger to undo.

 

The breaker bar allowed for a much improved control when undoing it to prevent damage.
