The Horror- Serious valeters in the Midlands for curry accident?

Featured Replies

The stuff for dealing with cat pish might help.it has enzymes to break thing down not just detergents. Nothing is worse than cat pee.

Kid puke is a bad one too especially when it's got a lot of milk in it.

Milk is worse. first co car I had I got from previous bloke, a 5l can of whole milk dirtect off a farm had been spilled, never got the smell out. Same company but different car I was working at a job near Campbeltown on a farm. Left the boot open to go into the byre to serve a cow, cat peed in it. I had to drive all the way back to Dumfries (a fair drive) with the smell.

Cat pee smell disappeared milk never did.

I dunno but since I've no desire to judge that particular competition I'm happy to concede the point sick-smiley-face.png

Try a regular carpet cleaning wet vac, should do the job nicely. I'd be careful with bleaches if you want to retain your seat colours.

dried blood on sheets? Police!!

Horrendous.... Next time put the cat box in the boot!

I think copiouos cleaning followed by a degreaser type cleaner such as virosol etc. Repeat as required.

Dear God. If it helps I know a guy in Mansfield who might be able to help. My other half who I met as a uni student, who had a somewhat lacking sense of smell has a clapped out Corsa that he doubled up as a waste disposal unit. The smell got so bad that I could only describe it as rotting flesh, it actually made me heave. I took it to Jon from Finishing Touch Automotive, who is a friend of mine also (although has grounds not to be after being presented with that) and did a wonderful job.

He had to renovate it as well because my fella thoight he was dead artistic and spray painted skulls on the roof, destroyed the door cards and just generally ruined it. It's actually sellable now!

Dirty filthy boy!!

My car however... If there is so much ad a receipt chucked in the back seat, he will be getting out and walking.

Well, it has now been nuked from orbit at a pretty large expense. The tumeric apparently is what has left the orange outline that is still there. It still smells a bit too. We are going to see hów it goes but if the smell gets unbearavle new seats from a breaker for £150 will be the next stage.

As sweet payback she used her own car for the first time in months (she has used mine for the winter) last week and it has a random misfire which seems unsolvable for a reasonable price. She also broke the as van that towed it home...

Well Fabreeze or other odor absorbing things will probably be the order of the day and leave the car with the windows open as much as you can.

It'll be into the foam in the seat base so not a lot you can do to get it out.
