Hey, firstly sorry if ive posted in the wrong place...just having problems with my central locking since changing my stereo! have to unlock with the key and even at that it only opens the drivers door, pretty useless to me because I have baby to get in the car and a pram locked in the boot! Also when I unlock it with the key the alarm goes off...could it be something as simple as a blown fuse? Or fob battery? Thanks.

could be something simple, best thing to do it change the battery in fob and check the fuses... once you tried that you can rule it out and come back on here for bit more help

Thanks. Didnt know what fuse it was but checked them all but only one blown (fag lighter) when you change the battery in the fob does it work straight away or program it?

Not sure if it might be related to the cambus in the car - stock head unit has a feed to that so swapping it out might have caused an error

cant remember how long you get think it was 10 mins so if you swap it straight over then no need to worry, I replaced my stock stereo and never come across any issues, only thing I get is it flagging up on the vcds..

Switched the stereo back to my original one just to see..and thats the problem any way I can bypass it? Quite gutted really, the original dont work, driving in silence is terrible :(
