I'd say "no".

Basically it'll be something that makes your car overfuel, for which

if it's like any tuning box that's how they all work, ie, by upping the fuelling.

i never noticed a decrease in economy ( unless hoofing it ) and the performance was fantastic.

if you can't be bothered with a chip, it's a very good substitute.

can't comment on the brand though as i've no experience with it.

Buy a branded one from a reputable tuner and you shouldn't have a problem.

I would agree with Jason - save up and get a pukka re-map or at least buy a reputable brand tuning box - diesel car mag has a lot of adverts for these!

However, you can't beat a proper re-map for best performance!!
