Well how about that then.

 

After the recent Rapid steering and accelerator recalls, I've just quizzed my supplying dealer (Pentagon)about my 2014 Toledo and there are 2 outstanding recall/software change notices for it.

 

Surprise! And they never sent me any notification.

 

I suggest all Toledo drivers on here check in with SEAT dealers and see if your car needs the steering reprogrammed or the accelerator replacement too.

 

 

Shortly I will be getting mine in for it's 1st service, I'll have to quizz them over this.

 

It may mean I'll have to take it to a Seat dealer then, unless the Skoda dealer who I've used before can do it.

They used to inform owners of things like this via letter but I guess they can't be arsed now [emoji19]

I phoned my local Skoda and was sad to hear one of their GREAT service staff wasn't working there. Anyway, I'm booked in for a few niggles (squeeky door needs lubing again, finding it hard to engage reverse, squeaky suspension and the common boot bump stop adjustment) and asked about the recall and I was told my car wasn't affected? Does anyone have any details about which cars are affected? Is it the notchback or hatch?
