its only 100mm lower haha ...went a scenic route today up to bettyhill on my way home from a cruise in inverness and think it scraped about 5 times n the single track roads hahaa .... go low or go home haha .. yh 406 hdi are good aswell

Never had an HDi, but I used to drive a Citroen ZX, and various XUD engine cars, so may be able to provide some advice and know a site that should be able to help (Citroenet).

Also check out pug306.net great knowledge and friendly people

TIght oil filters are a common issue; smear the gasket ring and do it up hand-tight is actually enough.

yh the amount of people who use the clamp nd make it stupidly tight ... was rash with oil filter had to put a screw driver threw the side and use it for leverage haha  .. proper rash haha

we update . fitted new front brakes now to save for fabia !

Had one of these back in 2010! Great car, MrWhippy mapped! Mental mpg, over 60 on my commutes! Loved it to bits

Been there, done that, got the oily tee-shirt...

Had a 306 XUD9 (non-turbo).

Then when looking at replacing that we almost bought a 306 HDi Meridian 5dr.

The old HDi is pretty rock solid. They also remap fairly well too.
