Featured Replies

Today I received an update to Android Lolipop for my Galaxy S4 Mobile, can anyone tell me if I download the update will I still be able to connect my phone via RSAP.currently I have android version 4.4.2 on my phone and everything works fine but I have heard that the LOLIPOP update no longer supports RSAP.I have the 3C8 035 730 D Bluetooth module fitted at the moment so won't be able to connect using HFP,thank you

I have it on my S5 and it's fine. Still make and receive calls. Plus receive texts

Great news

hate to put a downer on this but I found with my lollipoped S5 that rsap would drop the connection at random time intervals. Switched rsap off and its been fine.

Another update came out - haven't tried switching rsap back on yet.

That used to happen to me when I was running my s4 on 4.4.2 but it very quickly reconnected itself,a bit of a bummer if you was in the middle of a conversation but it never happened to me.I haven't been out and about since my lolipop upgrade but will keep an eye out and report the outcome. Is there anything out there that is completely foolproof tho?

Went out all be it only for a short period but everything seemed fine so here's hoping....

I was under the impression they removed RSAP. I also have an S4 with the RSAP only BT module, I have held off so far as it works fine, much better than my S2 and WAY better than the HTC HD2 Windows Mobile I had before that.

I was led to believe that RSAP wasn't supported on the latest android updates but all seems to be OK on the latest lolipop update. My BT module is also rsap only which proves that they haven't removed it.
