EGR Valve

Featured Replies

Hello All, I've read that some people recommend blanking it off, I'm not sure why it is there or why it's needed, my inlet manifold has got a lot of soot in it, I take it

that it comes from the EGR??

What do you think, leave it or blank it ??

Blank it and get it mapped out but clean out the egr pipe and your inlet manifold

Thanks Jimbling!

Not a problem even if you just buy two blanking plates and remove the pipe which attaches to the egr and the turbo place the blanks on there and keep the egr valve there you can keep the anti shudder valve that's on there so car won't shake like mad when turning off
