I have purchased part 4 ..

But i may as well change part 2 while im at it... but i cant for the life of me find a part number, and google doesn't bring anything up, i bought one from aceparts, but then got a email saying they no longer have these in stock, and the supplier is no longer producing them... there was no part number so im stuck, there are loads of "Fabia" seals that look like this part on ebay, but none are suitable when putting in vrs in the suitability check ><

Someone please assist ::P

Euro car parts sell one of them, which is also 4 I believe but not the other, it's a dealer part from what I've experienced.

You don't say what year or engine code your car is, both of which are very helpful when looking for part numbers; however, it looks like what you're after might be part number 038117070, item 13 on this page. That's looking up for a 2005 car.  If yours is a different year, note which Master Group, Sub and illustration number that page is, change the year and navigate back to the same diagram.

Thank you extremly helpful

Mine is 2004 vrs, but seems to be the same as you quoted im guessing by that, they are all the same as it doesn't specify engine code for that seal.

So i assume this is the correct part : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/191282125065?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

But it has the A missing.. off the end...

It throw me a bit as there are over 20 of these seals listed on ebay, all for different variants of Fabia's, but none for the VRS/ pd130/ etc. So was guessing the VRS one was different, but it seems not.

Thanks

Fiddly b hard of a job!! really need 2 people, or take it all out.. i did it in situ and was annoying, as the top and bottom part you cant hold together when tightening up. If you have pixie hands you can squeeze them though, but i cut mine a lot!!

Anyways job done, ive read a leaky one of these can pop and if so and you dont notice its spat its guts out on the motorway for example, it can be bye bye engine!

Cheap fix, but awkward:P
