Quick update - the units aren't here yet but we'll update everyone on here as soon as they are!

Do I take it that the car won't be drivable while I am waiting for you guys to email me the map?

No, you can continue to use it.

 

You'll connect the STS and read the current map. The current map will be written to the STS. You'll then connect the STS to your PC and send that file to Shark, who will email back with a mapping file. Load this onto the STS, and then you can re-connect the unit to your car and then load that 'performance' map.

 

You'll then be able to use the STS, to switch between original and performance maps.

Hoping to go to How Fast on 2nd May, so would like to have had it in plenty of time to get maps sorted etc. beforehand!

Bad news - I'm getting a "Calibration file not found 03L906018BS_7829" warning when I try and read the ECU :(

 

Have emailed Shark's STS email address, but if anyone else knows what this issue is, I'm all ears!

That's perfectly normal on newer cars, just plug the unit in and send the resultant output file to us and we'll do the rest!

Yes no issues, read the original map without a problem.

They use the same ECU, so no problem there, just select the ASZ option.
