Newbie with a VCDS

Featured Replies

I have just bought a 2009 vrs for the misses but the car has only one key that works fully (other one went through the wash) so I've bought a used key off ebay, I know these have to be re-programmed to your clocks etc using a VCDS, so a kind friend has let me borrow his (I've downloaded the latest software from Rosstech), problem is I've never had a play with one of these!!

Do anyone know how to do this? I've done the usual google hunt and found some info but would like some extra please!!

Also how do I set the car to open all doors with one push of the fob button?

And then I plan on fitting a HID kit but that looks a nightmare to get right, anyone cracked it safely???

All and any help would be kindly accepted :) I'm in York but could easy travel to you, if your nearby.

Cheers

Chris.

Phil-E may well be the person to help - and he's close by too!
