A guy round my was always has new Mercs for his cab, keeps them 3 or 4 years then gets a new one. They all look identical, he puts his own plate on each car too, so unless you spot it the few days between picking it up and plate going on you'd never know. 

Less room than the Superb and by reputation not so reliable and double the money.......

 

I guess if you are doing corporate work or mainly airport runs but on a Saturday night picking up drunks I would not want a £12k car!
