Top Gear (or No Gear)?

Are there any more excuses you'd like to make for him?

It's ok Brimma, your view was covered in my comment "(or celebrate, depending on your view of Clarkson)".

We're all entitled to our views and Clarkson certainly divides opinion, but personally I think it's a shame that it couldn't have been dealt with better. By the looks of it, viewers of the programme have lost out (both here and around the world), the BBC has lost out on the revenues the show sales brought in (I wonder what they'll have to cut to make up the shortfall in revenues?) and the production team may well lose their jobs as well (possibly not in the short term if the BBC try and re-launch the show, but I doubt it would be as successful, so ultimately they'll pull the plug on the show).

So more of a 'lose-lose' outcome IMO. Only the Clarkson dislikers and the 'politically correct' section of the BBC (most of?), some sections of the press and the Greens will take pleasure from the outcome.

Its editing!! Nothing strange or startling...its the same in movies and TV shows (I've made one of those), they do a number of takes and use the best or then just use another shot taken on a completely different day and or location and chop it down to fit and hope no one notices :)

K:)

I realise they do "takes" etc.

Jezza is inside the vehicle. The camera is inside the vehicle. The speedo = 0mph and the rev counter = tick over.

It's the snowy background moving, in the same shot that I cannot work out.

Is it really like in the old movies?

Why is this picture relevant to a camera that was inside the vehicle supposedly being driven?

Producer's job for he's paid lots of money is to cater for the star's every whim, that is his fekking job. He completely failed and should be disciplinary sacked for that and Clarkson was absolutely right to say so.

Then the stupid moron instead of disappearing in search of hot chow stood there soaking it up and probably mouthed off to Clarkson as well.

Then Clarkson screwed up and biatch slapped the useless sack of crap and for that Clarkson should be sacked as this is an unacceptable behavior under any circumstances. I can bet a lot of money that the sorry excuse for a producer behaved like did knowing fully well how this was going to end.

End result is such that the Beeb had no choice and millions of people got deprived of their fav Sunday evening bit of motoring entertainment.

I hope that "producer" is very proud of himself now!

That has to be one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read on here. Talk about blaming the wrong person!

Even Jeremy has said to the press that Oisin has done nothing at all wrong and people should leave home alone.

You are of course entiteled to your own opinion, which is the most ridiculous thing I read here :)

EDIT: What else was he supposed to say to the press?? He had no choice and because he did the other jobsworth did not press charges.

Priceless

This reminds me of standing at the top of a snow covered mountain & rolling a snowball off the side. You know something is going to happen but you just have to do it anyway.

I suspect both JC & the producer felt the same way....
