That's how my dealer put it today. They must think I'm about 12! :)

I collect my new Fabia SE L 1.2 TSI 90PS Estate tomorrow at 4.30pm. Excited? Me?  :notme:

You have been getting a little excited of late, hope you haven't been leaving puddles on the floor ;)

Have a good day tomorrow. I pick mine up 1200 on Thursday. There is just the matter of the 275 miles drive there and back again. At least it will give it a good run back up to Ayrshire.

I thought everyone got that excited before a new car . I haven't got a build date yet so I can't work out the sleeps[emoji1]

No dealer near you or avoiding your local dealer?

Dealer wouldn't budge on list price. I am going with an Internet Broker I have used for my last 2 new cars, saving 11.5%. For about £70 petrol costs its a no-brainer. I'll use the local dealer in Ayr for Servicing and any warranty issues though.

I hope it doesn't turn out to be a joke! :)

Right, it's time for that sleep the dealer mentioned.

Awake and excited. If only I didn't have to go to work.

New car collection day is one of my favourite days of the year. Enjoy!

One hour to go. It'd better not drag!

Boo!! My pick up date has been pushed back to Saturday now. Just knew April the 1st  that it wasn't going to happen.

Sorry to hear that. Were you given a reason?

My car has arrived at the dealer but along with a 14 others new skodas, he did show me a list of his own sales for that month as I was listed at about 17th so I guess its just a case wait my turn while they do what ever they need to do before handing  them over to their owners.

I guess you're a victim of your dealer's success.

I have been driving a DSG for the past 5 years, and I have stalled my Fabia III manual few times. I noticed an added benefit of the start button: the car restarts automatically after stalling when you press the clutch!

Very handy!  Also - that feature is probably more to do with the Start-Stop system than the Keyless ignition /KESSY /Start button. I'll bet that won't work if you turn off the Start-Stop system (the button nearest the drivers door with "A  OFF" written on it) ????

I didn't stall the TSi 90 on my test drive - but I'd imagine - after 23 diesel years, I might have a few stalls myself !! Good to know there's a quick recovery option !

Love to hear owners' driving impressions and "living with" impressions ??

Best Wishes to JoePeddos and river27.  Look forward to seeing your new baby photos :-) :sun:

When I stalled mine, it came up on the display to start manually.
