I have Skoda Octavia Ambiente 04 plate with 149000 miles on the clock. Purchased last year and it never let me down.

Couple of days ago I parked it with no problems at all but next day it refused to start at all even after several attempts. 

 

When I try to start engine cranks but doesnt start. At the 1st instance, engine fires but then just spins and no fire

I towed to one of my mates garage (Not professional garage)

There he has done the following steps but no luck so far

 

Fully recharged battery

Checked timing, sounds ok

Fuel pump

Starter motor 

No visible damage to relay 109

No fault codes

 

Any help or ideas would be highly appreciated

 

Any one got any idea please ?

Presumably a diesel? 90bhp injection pump?
