Removing seat plastics

Featured Replies

Picked up my new taxis few weeks back & also got a bargin on eBay for these seat covers. Need to remove the plastics around the base of the seat to propely fit them.

Any tips, do seats need to be unbolted or can I do it in place?

Anyone?

Remove seats.  It's 4 triple-square bolts & the airbag connector.  5 minutes removal, 5 minutes to refit

Unless the car has had the issue with the airbag connectors, in which case the connectors will have been cut off and the wiring soldered together.

£30 bargin on Ebay, couldn't believe it. They are for a hatch tho, I'm putting them on the estate so slight blog of modifying on the rear, which brings me to my next question?

The two bolsters at the side of the rear seats, how on earth do I remove them?
