Unable to open passengers door

Featured Replies

Lock has been sticking for a little while only had the car nearly two I've bought a new mechanism but ain't fitted yet, I've partially got the door card off, anyway I can open the door?

Locking pin is currently up but pulling door handle inside doesn't open the door.

Cheers

If you have the top bit of the door card off (which sounds like you have, as the bottom is screwed in where you cannot see with the door shut), cut  length of metal coat hanger, curl the end up to create a hook, then shine  torch down to the lock mech and guide the hook to the gold lever which is attached to a short cable going to your door handle, then pull pull pull pull..........!

Thanks actually door pin is down :(

Then use the same method but pop the gold lever on the opposite side (nearest to the door card), its very fiddly and a pain in the you know what but you will get there eventually.................
