You want to be careful breaking cars as a business on here, without being a site sponsor. :)

I know, but its one reason I don't advertise any of the Octavia vRS I occasionally have. ;)  I'd be delighted to help everyone out but rules are rules, and I have to abide as well as ensure everyone else is abiding. :)

So you have to pay to be freedom and sell stuff, and pay more to be a sponsor and sell even more?

How do you become a sponsor?

No it's just the fact Steve must be on his 3rd /4th Fabia for breaking in a relatively short time which could almost be perceived as a way of generating profit and doing it as a source of income, Freedom is designed for personal sales, become a sponsor you pm COLIN and discuss with him

Sorry, I wasn't having ago at the system. I agree there has to be a cut off point. I had a quick check on my phone and couldn't see anything relating to becoming a sponsor, I was asking for my own business reasons more than anything.

Edit; found it under store and advertising.

So do I :D but I am not allowed. :D  There is a thin line to tread and the area is still a little grey but simply "buying cars to break for profit" is not OK (unless a sponsor as "steveopc breakers".  If you happen to wish to break your own car owned for a longer period of time due to uneconomical repairs / MOT costs, etc - then that is OK as a one off. :)

so what is the point of buying a freedom membership i remember when i first joined the site i tried to sell and i was confronted by a few saying i had to pay a membership fee which i did no drama any how as ebays just a click away

its not a business its just abit of fun with plenty of spares for myself aswell

Like Jason says, personal car ok, anything els is a no go. Fair enough imo.

Ebay do free listing nowerdays so nothing to worry about. Just means us briskodans should get cheaper parts paying by gift if needed or first refusal :)
