Louies fabia-monte tdi

Featured Replies

Well thought I would start a thread up on my fabia as I've been on the forum a while now.

I've had it a year and a half now haven't done a lot as it was supposed to be my non modified car to get to work ;) but I got bored.

What I've done so far is clean it and then clean it's some more ,fitted some coilovers and adjustable drop links ,rear anti roll bar and polybushed the dog bone mount.I still have to fit my polybushes to the lower arms which I plan to do tomorrow .

Future plans are to get it remapped,312 brakes once there worn, stainless exhaust and might look at getting some better Coilovers.

Anyways that's enough of me rattling on here's a few pictures:

So things have changed . I bought this : Which now looks like this :

  • Was £250 for the map. Fitted my intercooler and pipe work. It took the best part of a day to do ,plenty of cutting and drilling to do to get it sitting perfect.

Each to there own :) I like it feels much better to drive

what wheels are they? I likey :)

What poly bushes are they and Was they had to fit?

They look like powerflex bushes to me ant, usually quite easy to fit providing the originals press out okay

I did all of them on my mk1 fabia vrs and it made a big difference with the heavy lump in the front

Same here. One of those underrated mods but is actually quite beneficial in terms of tightening everything up.

Alright ,

The wheels are xxr 527.

As for the polybushes they are simple to fit just push out and in,they make a big difference tho .

I attend vw festival this weekend got a good shot of the car -

Well it's been mapped and also had the egr removed.

It's 100 times better to drive now much quicker than before, top end is still slow but getting to it's not .

Ordered some more goodies for it aswell :)
