When you say local company.. what company is it you got it mapped at mate? As your local to me and I want to get mine remapped too

Again let me know about the dpf removal also been an idea for me from the start. Can imagine it being better again without dpf.

Have u checked to see if ur car is affected by the emissions scandal?

I use to work for audi and any major recalls they set up have to by law get them done, so if urs is affected when it goes for recall it will get the map wiped, that's why am leaving mine till its been for recall incase they try and fob me off and up **** creak! Also the 1.6's from what av heard is going to be new injectors

Yeh mine is affected I thought sod it I'm getting it done I wasn't planning on taking it back there only going to make it worse . I watched somewere they were putting a mesh insert into the airflow meter to restrict air flow. I have read that there changining the injectors on the 1.6,s to.

It was mapped at energy tuning in ashington.

Much did map cost? Think my egr is funked so gonna get mapped **** the emissions haha

Was £250 for the map.

Fitted my intercooler and pipe work. It took the best part of a day to do ,plenty of cutting and drilling to do to get it sitting perfect.

Can see the dark side through the grill ? If so this will look class!

Seems to pull much more now in high and low range speeds

Brilliant thank you, mm tempting then. Sure a yeti intercooler fits too and that's bigger than standard.

I thought a yeti one would fit to ,but got told it wouldn't off a yeti owner. Tbh looking at it, it would proberly fit with some persuasion.

Never had the bumper off so don't know what to expect just looked at your kit and it isn't cheap. Yeti intercoolers from GSF with discount is £100 ish. May even try it see if it fits

Yeh feels much better at higher speeds ,pulls better and it's smooth.

Ah not what I wanted to hear ! I really want one but it's like £425 just in parts. Then the cutting and fitting got to find time for.

Any idea if the Intercooler would fit with standard pipes ?

May buy the pipes at a later date.

I don't think they would I tryed when I was doing it to help hold it in place,one would go on but the other side would be miles out

I just emailed Darkside and they have said yes to standard pipes fitting. No idea what to do now

Not really done much with the car lately.

I've bought some corbeau clubsport seats but in two minds on fitting them or not .
