rear caliper retract

Featured Replies

With the rear calipers will they just screw back in, do you screw both sides back clockwise?

When I turned the n/s caliper clockwise it did n't seem to retract.

you must push the piston in whilst turning it

As above, makes sense.

However you take back the caliper pistons - DO NOT FORGET to place some sort of cover/cloth over the master cylinder reservoir under the bonnet!

Why? Just use brake bleed nipple, much easier...

Quite simply, because many people do not release the bleed nipple - then find that fluid has been chased out of the reservoir!

ah, in such a case :)
