Rrrrrrremap

Featured Replies

Took up Shark's remap + free STS offer today...

In a couple of weeks I should receive the STS, and be able to remap the car myself.

Excited I am :)

I was very tempted, and Ben had my details ready to go but I got cold feet.

I couldn't use it until my insurance renewed in January when I'll be wanting to put my lad on the insurance, but most importantly my roof sprung a sodding great leak, and I wasn't happy to commit until I knew how much that would cost to fix.

I'd appreciate it if those of you that have taken up the offer don't get overly effusive, OK?

I'll try ;)

What's an STS?

Self-Tuning System (STS)

The STS is a useful handheld device designed to give you control of your tuning. The STS allows you to switch between your standard and modified ECU map in minutes, and thanks to the intuitive user interface it is simple to use. Also included with the STS unit is an immobiliser function which will disable the engine altogether, meaning the engine will not run even with the keys!

Gotcha, cheers :)

In my part of the world we never inform the insurance company or the greedy tax collecters that our cars have been remapped.  Not even my wife knows :notme:

Has she told you yet that she is having an affair with your best friend? ;)

How did you find out?

I know a private investigator who lives in Norway and was previously an insurance underwriter and a tax collector. ;)
