Cheap as chips and guaranteed.

 

Blanking the EGR valve is quite literally the worst idea imaginable for a modern petrol engine unless you're tuning the hell out of it and using a standalone ECU. Clean everything EGR related then put it all back together, it should as good as new with a replacement TB on it. Check all your vacuum lines while you're at it, the brake servo pipe is renowned for splitting at joints.

Ok, scratch the blanking idea.

 

While i do the rest of it, might as well service it. Tbh it hasn't don't 10,000 miles since the last major one.
