Featured Replies

Hi there, how do you get the bonnet badge off without damaging the paint work ?

I could do with replacing the bonnet badge on my octy Mk2 as it is looking a bit worn and where can I get a replasment badge from at a reasonable price ?

Cheers kev.

As usual thanks for the help cheers bud kev.

I used the thread above too. The important thing is to make sure you get the badge nice and warm to soften the glue before you try and prise it off. I found it best to heat the badge itself with a hair dryer and put several layers of duct tape around the badge on the paint to protect it. Check the reverse side of the badge mount under the bonnet to make sore the plastic locating pins haven't been melted to form a stopper. If they have cut it off level carefully with a Stanley knife.

Hairdryer for me as well and then didn't need any force.
