I don't get it?

Eh .

How bizarre

The M6 Northbound is a rather large stretch of road - most of which I think I have travelled and I don't remember it being particularly special so I don't get why it has been posted as a driving/touring route.

I ****in hate it, dread to think how many hours of my life have been lost sitting at a stand still on it from Birmingham to Preston :(

I think Mannyo means the M6 north section past from Lancaster up. There's some nice views to be had through past Shap to Penrith. Also the traffic levels drop off, and your getting further away from London...lol

Likewise; it's actually fun for a motorway from "Lancaster North" up over Shap to the "Carlisle South" junction.

The shap section is indeed nice, for motorway.

Soemwhat of a contrast to anywhere near here.

This goes backt o 2005, when we recareated a section of the forum that was previously not in a forum. Whole sections were cut and pasted. including these and all the dealer reviews.

The first Kendal turn off though to Penrith is scenic enough but try turning off onto the A6 same views but a much better driving road
