Wind deflectors

Featured Replies

Hi all,

After some wind deflectors for my O3 VRS hatch, what have we all got and where did we get them from?

Also, looks quite self-explanatory but I presume they're quite simple to fit?

Cheers

Got mine from Micks garage, easy to find the correct model as you stick your Reg into their site and it gives you the correct product.

Easy fit, took all of 2 minutes if that, mine slid into easily.

Did you get the hekio ones ?

I have Climair ones ordered through Climair UK, the website isn't very up to date so don't have the O3 listed, but can be ordered via a phone call.

You can get more information from Climair German site, but it's a bit confusing.

Front ones are listed under Estate, same fronts so it's ok.

Rear ones are listed under Hatch.

Climair is also TUV approved.

I bought a second hand set off a former member on here. He mentioned how noisy his car had been, which i found odd, as my vrs Estate is quite quite imo. However, after a motorway journey with the deflectors fitted, i can agree, the car is now very noisy at motorway speeds. Ive since taken the deflectors off again... Just not worth the extra wind noise.

That's worth knowing Greg thanks. I bought the eBay linked ones above - they came today so I'll fit them when I get in.

I'm driving to Wembley from Telford down the M1 on Sunday so I'll see if the noise is manageable!

I bought mine from Super Skoda. They were a doddle to fit and look pretty good.

Drove down to London yesterday Greg and I do see your point on them being more noisy. However having the music on (even at normal 'kids in the car' volume) drowns it out.

Unfortunately, on long journeys i tend to have the volume limiter (wife) in the car so cranking it up isn't always an option
