Unfortunately he posted on a discussion forum. If he doesn't want people to discuss the mods be it positively or negatively then done post them.

T'is the problem with the internet , everybody that has an opinion seems to think it matters you included

I've always thought that forums should be like the real world and not isolated by a keyboard , go to a meet or tell someone in a pub you think their car is a total waste of money and then deal with the consequences

But the old adage "If you have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all" is perfectly valid in my opinion and the world would be a nicer place if more people felt the same way

Well, when posting his mods, its kinda an invite for Opinions, be it good or bad.

But they can be posted a bit more civilized.

I admit That I wouldnt want a red strip on the grill(e?) (whats the english Word?), but if others like it, let them. Dont trash them for it.

The two mods I was looking at doing sometime soon when the old slush funds the wife doesn't know about get a bit topped up , the front spoiler and rear diffuser, 

Unfortunately I need to get a detachable tow bar fitted later on this year so the rear diffuser is out.

 

 

DD - they also do one for towbar users on Milotec's website. I'm not sure how it works. Other than the whole thing removes when you need to tow.

 

Which is you only do sometimes then it might be worth a shot. I may have this fitted to mine........whenever it arrives that is!

Seconded.  However, negative opinions are better expressed as politely as possible.

 

I have noticed that negative comments are often responded to with abuse.  Accessories that we could all add to our cars are a sense of humour and some tolerance of other people's views, even if the opposite of our own.  Personally I find some negative comments more useful and/or interesting than just agreement.
