my rear wash facility on my 04 plate 1.2 fabia is nothing more than a dribble. is there a seperate pump for rear washers?

also just down from the screenwash filler in engine compartment looks like another filler of some sort? any idea wot its for?

my rear wash facility on my 04 plate 1.2 fabia is nothing more than a dribble. is there a seperate pump for rear washers?

Ease the jet out with a pair of pliers \and soak it in vinegar overnight.

No separate pump for rear, just of main pump, could be one of the joints between the bottle & the rear hatch has worked loose & you have a leak, or not using proper concentration of screen wash & hard water so gunking up.................

There's a good chance that if it's still poor after nozzle cleaning (good suggestion), then you have a leak at one of the joins where the 'pipeline' has plug and socket connections.

There are a few of these, notably at the rear of the engine bay near the ABS unit, and at the C-pillar on the nearside under the plastic trim, which is easily removed.

 

The green-capped fill point in front of the screenwash one is for power steering fluid.

Yep, the trim I mean is under where the rear seatbelt lies when not in use. I'll edit in a photo in a minute when I find it.

Top tip, cheers, just popped it off with a pair of pliers, even moving the jets around with a needle I can see rust falling out of it. Never seen a rusty jet wash!

Try the rear washer without the jet to see if there is enough pressure before you stick a new one in. New jets are not that expensive.
