Driver Display - Change trip to something else

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I just got my new Octavia Elegance. Loving the car at the moment... only small gripe, and I'm hoping someone can help me here! at the moment the driver display is showing the current trip in miles in the bottom right of the screen. I want this to show me how many miles I have left to fill up.

I know I can change the main driver display to tell me the info but I can't have this and the navigation. I want to change the value in the bottom right so it's always showing. is that possible?

Thanks in advance

Chris

Anything is possible with enough effort, time, and money, but I think this would be a programming level change, beyond what VCDS can do.

I may be wrong, though.

Just a thought...

Why not have Nav directions on maxi dot and change infotainment to CAR settings so range is displayed on there? Obviously not what you asked, but a short term solution.

adistance til empty would be handy instead of trip miles in the lower maxi dot - could do this but I wouldn't like seeing the other info as it scares me I.e. Mpg !

Thanks, I'm doing as Black_Sheep suggested and to be honest it's not a major issue. Just would have been nice. Was hoping there was a setting I missed or something!
