Undecided on the interior/exterior protective finish, any thoughts?

Any one know where I can get a full vinyl wrap for the rear bumper? (near Swansea)

Will be saying good bye to our 08 Octavia TDI Elegance which we've had from new, just don't need the size any more.

hope you like it when you get it! I didn't bother with the protective finishes.. waste of money IMO.. but each to their own.. if you like spilling Costa or Maccies all over the interior you may want it.. but I don't do that sorta thing.. so no point in wasting money.. probably cheaper just to get a good valet every now and again from the dealer..

Trending to agree, Generally don't eat or drink in car, do have a dog who goes most places with me but she'll be in her travel crate. Will probably get a fabric protection spray anyway same as did for Citigo, does seem to make her hair easier to vacuum up when she's moulting.

just give it a treat to decent products when you wash and polish it

you know a gritty sponge in a dirty bucket, washing up liquid and pledge for a polish, or take to the local paint demolition squad in the supermarket carpark (hides quickly)

seriously though there are plenty of threads on here how to detail and look after the new pride and joy for far less than the rip off of the dealer applied lifeshine type products, unless you can get them to throw it in for free :)

personally I use autoglym products, some say they are ok others say they are rubbish, gives me a finish I am happy with at a cost and time to apply I am happy with

in the end it is whatever gives you the finish you want that fits your budget and the time you have to detail your car
