Hit the 100k mark last week. First car I've owned that's done that many miles.

Right on cue it's developed a little fault which is either a sticky caliper or handbrake cable as I've been getting one hot wheel and a smell of brakes. So that will be investigated next week when I can get it into the garage. Seems to free itself off after a while so isn't too serious but will only get worse.

Oh, and the spanner popped up, oil change is due on 500 miles.

Sticking calliper is fairly common. Happened to mine, needed to be replaced so fitted brand new rear setup from the MKI Octavia.
