yup, convoying down with the north west skoda owners club.

  • 2 weeks later...

  I shall be there in one of my heaps.

Yes always go to this one of the best skoda show you can go to all the people are friendly and there is a very good mixture of new and old skodas

Anyone going to skoda fest this year

No, not going this year.

People are friendly enough but I can't justify driving all that way to park in a field and look at some Skodas for an afternoon.

We did it last year and it was OK, but about five hours driving round trip.

Four weeks afterwards is the Briskoda National with the added attraction of track time so I am doing that.

FTFY :)

What are the times of opening and closing ? Might be able to get after lunch, or might take it with me. :peek:

Will be taking Rapid along so it can see some old pals (other Rapids and Estelles that is), plus say hello to their drivers.

I might pop over with the kids and the vRoomster

I shall also be there as I was last year :)

P.s

You need to pay an admissions ticket IIRC, can anyone remember how much this was? :x

£8 this year.

I might turn up.

Entry fee is £8 per person, as set by Stanford Hall, not the Owners' Club.

The gates open at 10am and close around 4pm. This year we are also having a charity raffle with all proceeds going to the anti-bullying charity, Bullies Out. There is quite a range of prizes including a £30 Nandos voucher, Gold vehicle valet, Simpson Skoda motorsport jacket and many other exciting prizes. It is looking to be a great event by all accounts.

Was a good meet nice to see some old skoda going strong. Hopefully have some at the national meet in june

It was a good day out, with the added bonus (for me, anyway) of having the Austin Seven club and the Sealed Knot having a day out there too. Nice to meet some more BriskSkoda members for the first time - vrsadz and others.

I am gutted to have missed it! Will continue to work on the event and see what 2016 brings.
