Hyundai Out!! Who's Next?

Featured Replies

all looking a bit doom & gloom at the mo'........is DR proving too effective for Mr.Ecclestone's taste at improving the profile of the WRC???

who's really to blame for the current mess??

Blame Bernie and Max ~ say goodbye to Ford next I think!

...and will Mitsubishi ever come back....?

They've just coughed up for Panizzi so they'll be back for sure!

How the manufacturers can let the powers-that-be walk all over them amazes me ! No-one wants the 16-round calendar (yet), no-one wanted the ridiculous 3rd driver rule and no-one wants the new reccie rules !!! The manufacturers should have shown a combined stance and told the FIA where to get off.

We're maybe losing Colin (plus other drivers), we're losing Hyundai (and no doubt others are considering options), and all because new rules that weren't needed are being introduced.

When any one of 6 drivers, covering 4 manufacturers (and 2 tyre firms) have a GENUINE chance of winning events on any surface, how can things need changing....?

If it aint broke.......

Rant over :)

It wont be the same without Tommi....

I've always been surprized Hyundai were in the WRC, (mnd you after watching C4's coverage you wouldn't now) after all there main market is the USA. Wouldn't the IRL or Champ cars be more effective for them?

I read in Autosport yesterday that Colin is trying to raise the money to either 'buy' a drive in a Subaru or set up a 2 car team running himself and Alister. That would be an interesting prospect! ;)

Someone quoted that a certain Italian Tyre company are willing to put

Nice!....I still dont know why Hyundai never made a WRC out of the Coupe (Tiberon in USA) , as its the one Hyundai id actually think about buying......then buy an FTO instead!
