Total closure factory alarm?

Featured Replies

Evening fellow Brisky's.

Does anyone know if the factory alarm system can be configured via VCDS to have a total closure feature?

I know that by holding down the lock or unlock on the key fob it's possible to either lower or close the windows/sunroof, but what I want is a one touch feature for the closure.

The reason I ask is because I'm compiling a list of features I want activated or de-activated (start-stop  ) that need to be done via the VCDS, but I've not seen any mention about the total closure.

If this can be done, everytime you lock or unlock the car, the windows are going to go up and down if you set it up as a one touch.

On my mk2 I have it set so that if I press and hold they start going up then I can let go and they carry on all the way automatically.

Is that the kind of thing you were thinking of?

No, what I want is total closure when I lock (alarm) the car, so if I have the drivers door window and sunroof open they both close when I press the key fob.

Gotcha.

I think of the top of my head that was an option on the MK2... Hopefully they've kept it in on the MK3.

I sure you can get the car to do this, I found a clip on YouTube that the owner had his car set up like this. I can't remember what the title of the clip was called, it was found looking for something else.
