Oh and I've changed the colour from Moon white to Candy white and now to Meteor Grey

Be careful with your colour choice, the Meteor Grey is a bit Marmite and two to three years down the line might not be too kind to it.

Ugh, I hate the wait! I made the order in the garage on 5th September, I only got an e-mail yesterday saying "Thank you for choosing ŠKODA, we’re sure you’re going to be delighted with your new Fabia". I will be when I see it!

 

Anyway does that email indicate that Skoda have only just received the order themselves? My dealer's not said anything for weeks!

I Ordered mine on september 1st... had a few updates from my dealer but nothing from skoda themselves... :/ mine is still scheduled for 6th December at the moment.. really want it to be moved forwards a little though. 

Hmm that's weird! My dealer reckoned that I'd have it by end of late Oct/Early Nov. Yea right!

My car will be ready on Saturday! yes this Saturday!!! being prepped now! whoop! is it Saturday yet???

I just had a call out of the blue! They have indeed been advised that the dates have all gone forward. To reiterate, mine was ordered 5th Sept and they've been told it will be in the showroom in 5 weeks!

That meteor grey and the bigger wheels looks like a great combo. For the record, I don't think it'll date. Solid pastel colours tend not to, and this could almost be from the 60s... it's got a retro racing vibe to it.

Rallye Green could be accused of dating but everyone still loves it...

That's a lovely touch by the dealer! I wish more people understood that it'd small inexpensive things like this that make the difference and generate positive word of mouth publicity.

Car looks great! Is the panoramic roof larger in the estate? I've seen it in the hatch but the one in yours looks much larger.

Yeah the dealer did it for my wife's Citigo too which was sweet as we were on holiday so she had to wait for a few days knowing it was ready!

No idea on the roof but happy to measure it tomorrow when I get it!!!

That's still the best colour for the Monte, red with the black touches and wheels. Looks really nice, enjoy it when you get the keys.

I hope thats the case with mine. I orderd mid august and there sayin december delivery....... week 46 build. Which would mean id have to wait about 15 weeks or more for my car.

A lot of people had their delivery moved forward so it might be worth getting an update from your dealer? Mine moved from 44 to 41 a few weeks ago.
