Skoda UK build your Skoda still offline

Featured Replies

not sure what's going on, but the Build your Skoda is still offline after three days,

Is this normal?

I suspect that they are updating it for the New Superb Hatch.

Being updated with all MY16 changes Id bet

from what there is in the MY16 thread i dont think there is much to get excited about...

the new superb will be worth getting excited about but thats not coming for another 6 months - so i doubt thats the reason for the downtime

No, just had a look at the May brochure and the only change seems to fe the model game change from Elegance to SE-L spec looks exactly the same

any sign of the VRS 230 in the may brochure?

It can take them 6 months to build a VRS!

its still offline at the moment...

The Yeti is getting a new line up of Euro VI engines - I presume most of the other older models are too. I've seen the configurator drop offline before, but it does seem to be taking them ages this time round.

I have it on very good authority that the Skoda car configurator will be back on line by tomorrow afternoon (23/5/15).

I thought Superb 3 was on sale in June, with first deliveries in September?

About time, 2 weeks to carry out updates is a joke.

Its been down for at least three weeks. Ive been sad enough to speak to skoda twice about it recently and theyve been saying it will be back online the following day. But that wa two weeks ago and one week ago!

How ****e are their IT department if they can't prepare the update offline and update the car configurator overnight?

All of the VAG IT specialists are working on a top priority job, adjusting the font size and shade on the audi website and considering which looks best.

Seriously though, this delay is shocking. Absolutely unjustifiable and inexcusable. I doubt the VW or audi configuration has ever been 'down' for this long.

I heard it was down until June when the new specs appear.

Have you noticed that as well as the build my Skoda being down, the engine and specs pages are not working either

It appears to be back - finally!

They still don't want to let you configure a new Superb!

Sorry - had my Yeti blinkers on! No Roomster either. Presumably the whole range will be there by tomorrow.

Octavia is back on but I'm a bit pi**ed and can't quite figure out what I've missed on the vrs I pick up Thursday... Will Look again tomorrow ;)

Its back on but not all the options are there so is pretty pointless for me, been waiting ages for this!

New things on the vRS Estate that I am looking at.

Smart gate and Smartlink are there and the Amundsen nav is still free but showing as the 5.8" version (which doesn't seem to be MIB2)

There is an option for Bluetooth WiFi if you spec Columbus

Something called "Control of Logistics 3" which is a free option but with no picture or description.

Elegance spec has been renamed SE L??
