Remap

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm looking for some advise, as I'm thinking of buying a shark sts for my octavia vrs. Is it worth the money ? And does it have any downfalls that will affect the car

None that I am aware of - easy to do too. It only has an immobilizer additional to the remap and standard map to choose from and it takes a few minutes to change maps but it works well and the remap itself seems flawless to me.

They were offering the STS unit free through their Facebook page a while ago. I would give them a call and negotiate one.

Personally I took mine to one of their local agents. I got the Briskoda discount and before and after dyno runs for free. I can't see the point of an STS for me as it would only ever get used once and then stuck in a drawer.

The STS box also reads engine fault codes and allows you to immobilise the car if you are leaving the car long term somewhere. You can also return your car to standard and then reinstall the map eg if its under warranty and you dont want the dealer to notice.

Cheers guys, think I must go down the sts road, as I can't find a shark agent in or local to me in glasgow.
