Hi.

Ive had people comment that my boot sounds open whenever im driving so i had a look and there is a gap between the boot and the seal towards the bottom, you can see right to the outside. I moved the catch mechanism as for down as it will go but there is still a bit of a gap and a lot of noise. Does any one know how i can make the boot seal properly? Its a 98 felicia.

Are there rubber stoppers on the tailgate?

Could try winding them in a few turns.

If thats no go then let me know and i'll take a few pics of mine and we can see if its looks straight, may have had a nudge in the back at sometime.

Hi. The rubber stop on the left doesnt even reach the body of the car. The right one just about touches, there is a crack in the plastic bit under the bumber so i think it has had a bump, i suppose thats why its not closing properly???

It certainly sounds like it too me.

Mine does this all the time. I stried loosening the two rubber stops on either side and still no joy. Thenoise seems to come from the hinge bit. (Where the parcel shelf goes in). Is there normally any rubber pieces or seals hear or equivilant because the slots seem too big for the shelf sticky out bits!
