Mine did seem to have that hesitation a while ago, but I replaced the coolant temperature sensor and it seems to have sorted it. As for the brakelight switch, I've not tried the cruise control yet, but it certainly hasn't cured my ABS :(

Quick update on this - I've tried my cruise control at a bunch of different speeds over the last few weeks and haven't managed to make the epc and tcs lights come on at all. Seems this £5 fix has done the business! :D
