Muted volume after MFD DX retrofit?

Featured Replies

Hi. Just put in an MFD DX unit and the volume is muted and I can see no way to fix this.

Can anybody help me with this?????

Many thanks,

Mike.

Is it plugged in properly?

The two plugs do different things, can't remember but for argument sake, brown is power and switched live etc and the black is for speakers and such...

Also did you get the correct wiring look for retrofitting it?

I've fitted 3 now, all no problem.

I once left a wire loose in the back and it turned out to be the telephone mute wire and it was touching metal frame causing it to think the phone was connected.

Did this when I installed my head unit, took me longer than I would like to admit to figure it out
