Bought from Henry’s Skoda Glasgow (it was their demonstrator and then owned by me for a couple of years and then my Father in law since).

 

Full service history with multiple stamps in book.

 

Front tyres have 6mm, rear tyres 5mm (Kumho tyres all round)

 

No expense spared maintaining this car and a whole pile of receipts available for the work. This includes new front wishbones and steering rack recently and front seats have been reupholstered with new genuine covers. Brand new rear brake discs and pad done today.

 

Alloys have been refurbed.

 

Never crashed and in very good condition for a 10 year old car.

I would be grateful if you could answer some questions.

Can you confirm the situation with the clutch and flywheel - any knocking, rattle etc?

How does the air con blow?

If your fil was keeping it what would he do to it?

What condition is the body and paint in?

I cannot quite see from the records - when was the belt and pump last done?

Any strange noises or rattles from the turbo?

Genuinely interested in the right car and would appreciate your honesty.

My father in law is in his late 60's and a bit old school, so rather than passing any issues on to a new owner, he likes to get them fixed before a sale (hence he had me doing the new rear brakes yesterday despite my protests!!)

 

No issues at all with clutch / flywheel or turbo

 

Air con works fine

 

There was a knocking from nearside suspension, but he's had that fixed today with a new anti roll bar bush ad the knocking is gone (also put a new seal on driver's door today)

 

There were some very small areas of surface rust but this was treated, fixed and painted. Bodywork has a couple of small scratches here and there commensurate with an almost 10 year old car.

 

Timing belt and water pump was done in 2010 and it was around 44,000 miles when it was done.
