Anyone installed a double cup holder in the spare single din section under the stereo??? Found this on eBay, just wondered if anyone had tried it. Item 171774700938

Not seen that one before. Price seems competitive. There's also another version without the CD storage but a slim drawer thingy.

 

Can't find them on the Connects2 website. Though they appear genuine. Seem to be advertised at £25-£30 elsewhere.

 

IMO you'd need to consider making a fascia plate to complete the job.

Looks like a good price really.

 

Much more reasonable than the useless genuine cupholder at nearly £70.

Not the best at designing fascia plates lol. May have to give it a miss. The lupo units are over £40

^ That one's no good for anything taller than a 330ml standard coke can, I seem to remember, 'cos the heater control panel's too close to it.  Fine if that's all you want it for.

Seems ok too me. Just want to do away with the empty space under the stereo. If there was a double din stereo with removable fascia I would buy one but I only seem too find non detachable units
