anyone got any idea's? i checked oil an thats ok, it could be that i have not connected that little black hose that goes into the airbox to my new induction kit????

you can just see the little black hose going into the airbox at the top of the picture.

with the new filter inplace the hose has nowere to go? i can drill a hole in the filter to accomidate for it but do u think this is the cause of the problem with my engine light being on?(what is the hose for?).

Can I make a suggestion take the air filter off put the original back on and get a pannel filter .

that airbox is in the shed :o

The sensor is still connected & in 100% workin order. its just turned round a little bit and is underneath, i will go take some picture's to show u and a better one of the loose hose.

the filter is made from metal gause. (made by Ripspeed)

lol dont think there is much point changing the filter box anyway better off just changing the pannel for a green or k&n one . :P

When I had asked the service manager here if it was okay to put a cone in the Fabia to replace the original, he said no. He told me if I wanted, I could get a panel filter, but the airbox HAS TO STAY In there, otherwise it will drive the car crazy and Il have problems.

There's your answer :)

lol  U dont take our advise . i had tried putting a cone filter on my car, Which made it runn like a bag of ****. Its not ment to have one put the box back on. And get a green pannel filter . Other wise wait for the repair bill !!!!

Your loss !!

The whole petrol/dump valve thing sounds cool, but you really are putting your car through hell. As Class37 said.

Whelan - if your worried I'd put it all backto standard and either take it into the dealership asking them what's wrong, or see if any one a VAGCOM to read any errors.

Me personally I'd bite the bullet and take it to the dealers

Isn't it just the cheap resistor mod he's fitted thats thrown up the warning?

Funny though. Only

Nah, it looks like it's binday ... that'll be the problem :)
