air bag warning light

Featured Replies

I have a problem with the air bag warning light located in rev. counter staying on. Can someone give some idea where to look for the reason this is happening?

Any help would be appreciated.

Ken.

You need to get the car scanned for faults. Wiring under the seat and in the doors is a common weak spot. Airbag faults do not clear themselves, so you need VCDS or similar to sort it.

Thanks for the quick response I have never experienced air bag problems before but it looks a job for a Technician to diagnose the problem.

Have a look in the VCDS/Diagnostics forum and see if there is anyone near you with VCDS who could scan the car for you.

Thanks, made contact and arranged to test.

Be careful if the light is still on the airbag don't work!
